Today, a report was published, detailing the development and conditions of our employees from the centre for the disabled in Menzel Bou Zelfa. They have the same rights as everyone else and are paid the same salary.
The report shows their path, their lives and the perspectives we have given them. In the meantime, some of them have already married and started their own homes.
The report will be broadcast on Elhiwar Ettounsi, Tunisia's largest private television station, with a duration of 6 minutes.

The Kraut family grants an internal relief fund in the amount of three million dinars
The company Nani s.a.r.l, a German manufacturer of toy figures based in Menzel Bouzelfa, had to close its doors on 22.03.2020 due to the Corona crisis and government orders. The company owners Marc Kraut, Paul Kraut and Natascha Meuser have thereupon set up an inhouse relief fund of up to three million dinars for its workforce. This will allow 100% of employees' wages to be paid until the end of May 2020, in a combination of advances, compensation for paid leave and in-house bonuses.

Between politics & business
Lunch meeting with the German ambassador and the managing director and president of the AHK
During a lunch with the German ambassador Dr. Peter Prügel, the Vice Ambassador Georg Felsheim and the management of the AHK, Mr. Jörn Bousselmi and Ibrahim Debache, discussed the current situation of Tunisia as well as the difficulties in the daily business life.
As foreign investors, we have been a job guarantor for over 40 years and employ approximately 3,000 people. We are one of the few companies that hired employees during the Corona crisis (a total of over 1,000 hires in 2020). In this respect, it is close to our hearts that certain internal decisions are made faster and less bureaucratically in order to give our growth more opportunity to develop. Above all, infrastructure should be advanced and expanded. This includes roads, fiber optic connections, water, electricity and gas. We have given the German ambassador a detailed picture of our wishes and concerns and count on an open ear from the Tunisian state.
„The way, how and with what a child plays - it has been said throughout time - not only reveals their character, but also shapes them.“
Invitation to Minister Mohamed Trabelsi
Ministry of Social Affairs
Together with representatives of the AHK, the difficulty in the daily economic life and the related demands of the trade unions were discussed with Minister Mohamed Trabelsi. In particular, attention was drawn to the demands of the resident trade unions. Minister Mohamed Trabelsi knows the problems and the scope of strikes and promised to act as a mediator.
